I was really interested in the Godlywood article (hate the name though). Passion of the Christ wasn't that long ago, and the secular media is saying (again) "Whoa, where did these people come from?" Hmm, I don't think we went anywhere...
I didn't think Fireproof was great cinema, but I was entertained yet challenged, and I was extremely glad to see how well it did. Hopefully we can advance to greater artistry while continuing to push film in a new direction.
