It always bugged me about Star Trek, and does here, too, like the joke told by chemistry students about the discovery of a universal solvent: If you have antimatter, what do you keep it in?

And ya gotta love it when Ron Howard chickens out and won't have a Muslim as a bad guy. Even famous, wealthy child star movie directors worry about their own safety, I guess. But you can pound on the Catholics, secure in the knowledge that they won't pound back. How brave.

Re “Pro-lifers, including elderly priest, arrested at Notre Dame”.

There was scarcely a whisper about this on NBC’s Nightly News. And, of course, the emphasis was on the fact that the majority of ND students were in favor of the Obama visit and took a dim view of the protests. In other words, “folks, the protestors were nut cases. Now cut to a commercial so that can sink in.”

God bless those Catholics who took a stand.

And God bless and help me, too, for in this I see I have an Evangelical head and a Catholic heart. “For whosoever shall do the will of My Father which is in heaven, the same is My brother, and sister, and mother.” (Matthew 12:50)

I wonder, does that make me a Cathangelical or an Evangaholic?

Regardless, we all have the same reason for abhorring and opposing this outrage that is abortion --
