Tho the article says (probably correctly) that evangelical churches tend to have overall less affluent membership than mainline or some Catholic churches, the article gives a couple specific examples of persons "both fired from Goldman Sachs" and others in higher level jobs -
who now are looking for God at evangelical churches (Quote below...)
"The sudden crush of worshipers packing the small evangelical Shelter Rock Church in Manhasset, N.Y. — a Long Island hamlet of yacht clubs and hedge fund managers — forced the pastor to set up an overflow room..."
