People have been sending that to me thinking it's true! I told them to look at how perfectly aligned each photo is in comparison to the previous one and that the shadows and grass all look the same. Duh! But it's very funny and I did get a big laugh out of it.

It is funny. Of course heaven is but the intermediate state, we will all live in our resurrected bodies on the renewed heaven and Earth, and there will be animals and trees at the very least.
God didn't get creation wrong, we are the ones who sinned and creation was cursed for our sake.
Animals have souls and spirits, what they don't have is the Image and Likeness of God.
If(!) I'm not mistaken, in Roman Catholicism, 'soul' is the platonic form of the body, something entirely different than the non-material part discussed in the Bible.
