The National Right to Life Committee has posted this investigative piece proving, beyond all doubt, that not only did Barack Obama help shoot down the Illinois Born Alive Infant Protection Act--a law that would have outlawed infanticide--but that he and his surrogates are now lying about it.

In short, Obama claims he would have voted for the bill if it had contained a "neutrality clause" (clarifying that the law would not be used to undermine Roe v. Wade). But as NRLC documents, the bill DID contain a neutrality clause--one identical to the federal BAIPA neutrality clause--and Obama knew it.  How do we know this didn't just slip past him unnoticed? Because, as NRLC notes,

State Senator Obama, then the chairman of the Illinois state Senate Health and Human Services Committee, presided over a committee meeting in which the "neutrality clause" (copied verbatim from the federal bill) was added to the state BAIPA with Obama voting in support of adding the revision.

Which leaves voters with a question to ponder: Is it worse that Obama supports the killing of already-born infants, or that he has spent the past four years lying to us and viciously attacking those who attempt to point out the truth?

The Obama campaign press office mainstream press, by the way, has so far ignored this story.

It's worse than that - Corsey states in his just released book that Senator Obama is on record (IL case where a Downs Syndrome child was left to die in a soiled linen closet after a failed abortion) with the following "if the mother did not want the child, she has the right to kill it". I have not yet independently verified this but the implications are most terrifying. Even if we accept abortion on demand, we can't reach this most shameful position. This was not a "blob of tissue" or a fetus - it was a living, breathing child, created in the image of God. Obama appointed the mother judge and jury and allowed her to use the hospital staff as executioners.

Joe, though I consider Senator Obama to be horribly dangerous, be careful putting any stock in Corsi's book, because Fox News is reporting that his research is very shoddy. James Rosen just reported today that Corsi lists several incidents and people that Obama "hid" by not mentioning them in either of his autobiographical books, yet it turns out that the people and incidents are in the books. Rosen also noted that the Obama campaign's rebuttal to Corsi is also riddles with errors and false accusations.

I find this odd, as Corsi's research for "Unfit To Command" was ironclad, and Obama is a very easy target because of his radical associations.
