I dont know her very well but her speech today is very impressive. She seems to have a maverick background. I think she's a good strategic choice for McCain considering she dissed the VP job in the past according to this article.

I heard her youngest son has down syndrome too and Im sure prolifers will use this information as a reference of good and strong character.

Sarah Palin for VP certainly puts some energy into what could have been a very boring Republican ticket. She's a very polished and comfortable public speaker, and I certainly like her stand on key issues. My husband will love the fact that she's a life-long member of the NRA. Sounds like McCain made a really, really smart choice. Guess time will tell.
