Regarding the "horrible doll"... It's not meant for kids, and that may be something to keep in mind. It has a $40 price tag, and is designed after Black Canary, a superhero that has been around since 1947... and what you see is actually tamer than her original outfit. I actually just read an article on a comics site about the outcry against the doll... which is humorous.
Basically, the responses were, "With all the problems in the world, why get outraged about something that isn't aimed at kids anyway, but collectors?"
There are many things aimed at sexualizing children younger and younger, and I agree it's a problem... but this, not being aimed at kids, and with the price tag attached, I'd say is not part of that problem.
