I hate it when a supposedly smart person tries to rewrite an historical person's ideas and beliefs to suit their ideological dilemma. Enough already Professor Stange.

Tragic that the inspired Word of God is inconsistent with "orientation" and "lifestyle" considerations ...I guess God was just another of those not yet educated. Methinks perhaps the professor is a looney tune!
