The Proof is in the Pudding |

One way to determine the validity of a belief system is to examine how it plays out in the lives of its champions. In Two Men and Two Worldviews part I and part II, I've attempted to do that for Sigmund Freud and C.S. Lewis, the most influential figures of the 20th century for the materialistic and spiritual worldviews, respectively. Read and share your thoughts with us.
Well done. If you look at what results from each purpose you see two entirely different results. One is destructive and the other is constructive. Frued failed to mention that the all out pursuit of pleasure can result in the very anxiety one is seeking to diminish. That is not very satisfying as a reason to live. Thank you for these thoughts,
Matt
