We kicked around this challenge in the small group I lead in church. We came up with alot of the same ideas already expressed here and elsewhere. We also thought about the Samaritan Purse catalog where for $100 you can help needy families around the world. Most items cost less than $100 so you can do multiple things. For example $75.00 will purchase a water filter so a family will have clean water. For $100 you can stock four ponds with baby fish or shrimp which results in a fish farm. For $90 you can supply 2 farmers with training, tools, and supplies which he can then provide ample food for his family. There are also many other things such as clothing, blankets, milk, etc. All this to help spread the gospel around the world.
